Since I moved here, Historic Downtown Venice has been one of my favorite places to explore. I believe it’s a one-stop shop for fun and entertainment. Visiting new restaurants, old stomping grounds, or even taking in the beautiful art that is just about everywhere you look! This quaint area has it all, and I am thrilled to share a snapshot of my favorites.
A fantastic place to start your journey is Centennial Park! Not only is this a beautiful park to enjoy, it offers plenty of parking, clean restrooms, a playground and water feature for the kiddos, and plenty of entertainment throughout the year! Most events in the park are led by Venice Mainstreet, a local non-profit organization that was built to support the amazing culture of Downtown Venice! If you are as excited for the return of live entertainment as I am, then you will love Venice Theatre. This local icon is one of the largest community theatres in the country. Offering everything from classes to musicals and beyond, the Venice Theatre has something for everyone to enjoy. Now starting to open with some restrictions, they are pushing towards lighting the community up with the performing arts. There is nothing in this world that compares to really, really good ice cream. Here in Venice, we are lucky enough to have the Venice Creamery. This local establishment offers a variety of options while holding to the staples: Ice Cream Sundaes. Yum! Not only is the ice cream fresh and delicious, but they also offer pints and quarts!
